The Greenhouse Restaurant Branding

This fictional restaurant branding and menu was designed for my junior Graphic Design 153 (Word and Image) course. The assignment was to create a logo, menu and one ‘customer giveaway item’ for a restaurant of your own creation that fits your personal style. The inspiration for my restaurant came from a trip to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA, and particularly from the stunning indoor green house exhibits throughout the gardens. My design features floral vines reminiscent of those that hang from suspended greenhouse installations. My vision for this restaurant included live butterflies as well to add to the atmosphere of life and nature, which led to the inclusion of a butterfly in the logo as well as on the reverse side of both the business card and the menu.
